The extension helps YouTube content creators with research: it lets you download video thumbnails, copy transcripts and tags, view viral outlier badges on public videos, and run optional Pro content analysis through your ViralDNA account. It runs only on YouTube pages and on the ViralDNA connect page.
chrome.storage.local. It is used only to authenticate your Pro requests and is refreshed automatically. It is never sold or shared with advertisers.Where the extension surfaces YouTube data, your use is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms) and the Google Privacy Policy (http://www.google.com/policies/privacy).
We do not sell, trade, or transfer your data to outside third parties. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling. The only third parties involved are the infrastructure providers required to run the service (such as Supabase for authentication), used solely to deliver the features you request.
The session token stored locally is removed when you sign out or when the refresh token expires. You can also clear it at any time by removing the extension or clearing its storage in your browser. To request deletion of any account data held on our servers, contact us at the address below.
You can uninstall the extension at any time from chrome://extensions, which removes all locally stored data. You can manage your ViralDNA account and any connected Google permissions independently at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
